Eight illustrated cats dressed as classic Halloween characters: Vampire, Frankenstein Monster, Zombie, Ghost, Haunted Portrait, Mummy, Werewolf, and Witch. They are painted rather than drawn flat, with soft lighting and fine texture, so they look more like small portraits than standard emoji.
They work best in a seasonal channel. Set up a Halloween reaction set for the week of the holiday: Ghost for something that disappeared, Zombie for the person who has been in back-to-back meetings since 8 AM, Witch for anyone who just fixed a problem that looked impossible, Mummy for a very long thread. Retire them in November so they stay a treat.
A warning before you upload: these are large static PNG files. The detail that makes them look good also makes them heavy, and at tiny reaction size the fine texture can get muddy, so check the result at about 32 pixels after you shrink it. Use the free emoji maker to shrink them first.
Download any emoji above, then upload it as a custom emoji in your workspace. Step-by-step guides: add custom emojis in Microsoft Teams, add custom emojis in Slack, or add custom emojis in Discord. These eight PNG files are 512 by 512 pixels and roughly 210 to 435 KB each. Slack's help says square images under 128 KB work best, and Teams and Discord list 256 KB (Teams says images are compressed and asks for files under 256 KB). Seven of these eight are over 256 KB, so shrink them first with the free emoji maker or any image editor, then check the exported file size and that your platform accepts it before you upload (limits checked October 14, 2026).
