About Teamsmoji

The short version: a big free library of custom emojis for work chat.

What This Is

Teamsmoji is a free library of custom emojis for Microsoft Teams, Slack, and Discord. There are more than 100,000 of them here: reaction faces, memes, animated GIFs, sports logos, game characters, and packs that started as inside jokes. Browse the grid, open an emoji, and download its original file or customize it in the maker.

Why It Exists

The default emoji set is fine, but work chat runs on custom emojis. Every good workspace has its own set, and building one used to mean digging through old Slack exports and Discord servers. Teamsmoji puts the good ones in one place so you can compare reactions and build a set for your workspace.

How It Works

No account, no app, no cost. Every emoji is a plain PNG or GIF that you save to your device and upload to Teams, Slack, or Discord yourself. If you have never done that, the guides walk through it for each platform in about a minute.

How We Write Guides

The guides cover one task at a time. Platform steps for Microsoft Teams, Slack, and Discord are checked against each product's own help documentation, and the pages link to those sources so you can verify them. Where the official sources disagree or leave something unclear, the guide says so instead of picking a side quietly. We do not publish keyword-swapped copies of the same article.

Product advice, such as desk gear, is explained with the rubric we used, and any affiliate relationship is disclosed on the page where it applies.

Tools On The Site

Besides the emoji library, the emoji maker turns an image, GIF, or video into a custom emoji. You can crop it, add an effect, and check how it reads at real chat size. Everything runs in your browser, so your file stays on your device. The emoji size checker tests a file against the published Teams, Slack, and Discord upload limits before you try to upload it. The FAQ answers the common upload and format questions.

Keeping It Current

Chat platforms change their emoji settings often. When a product's documentation changes or a reader reports that a step no longer works, we recheck the guide and update it. New guides are added to the Guides hub, where you can search and filter by category. Credits and licensing notes are on the attribution page.
